UserCalendar’s Mission
Our mission simple: to connect user researchers with the events that matter most to them.
We’ve built a centralized platform that aggregates valuable listings, making it easy for professionals in the field to stay informed, connected, and inspired. With a focus on inclusivity, collaboration, and continuous learning, we aim to elevate the standards of user research practice while fostering innovation in the industry.
Our platform empowers user researchers at every stage of their career, providing them with curated calendar listings tailored to their interests and professional development needs. Whether you’re looking to discover new trends, expand your network, or enhance your skills, User Calendar helps you find the right events. By simplifying the process of discovering and participating in meaningful events, we aim to advance the field’s impact.
Join us in shaping the future of user research, where knowledge sharing, networking, and access to cutting-edge resources propel our community forward.
We only list events specifically for user researchers (incl. UX Researchers, Design Researchers, People Who Do Research and academic researchers). We don’t organize any events ourselves. We aggregate the best UX Research events. UX Research events listed include UX Research workshops, UX Research conferences, webinars, user research panel discussions, and UX Research networking events. These events cover various topics such as qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, emerging trends in the field and career growth advice.
Events undergo thorough consideration for inclusion on the platform, drawing from both manual research efforts and submissions from the public. Each submitted event is reviewed against inclusion and exclusion criteria to ensure its alignment with our standards. They must be directly relevant to the interests and needs of the UX research community, providing accurate details such as title, description, date, time, location, and contact information. Additionally, event information must be authentic and not misleading. Excluded are promotional-only events lacking educational or community value, events not targeted towards UX researchers, spam submissions, 1:1s, small group events, and events that recur on a monthly or more frequent basis. Incomplete submissions or those exceeding the organizer’s limit of 5 events per month are also declined. These criteria ensure the platform maintains a high standard of quality, fostering valuable experiences for users while preventing overwhelming submissions.
New events are added to the platform weekly. Our team regularly curates events, reviews public submissions and updates the calendar to ensure a steady stream of valuable user research events.
You can utilize our search functionality to enter keywords related to your interests, such as “usability testing,” “UX design,” or “qualitative research.” Additionally, our platform offers filters based on event category, tags, virtual or in-person options, cost, organizers, date, and time. These filters enable you to narrow down your search and find events that precisely match your preferences and requirements.
To stay updated on upcoming user research events, you can subscribe to the UserWeekly newsletter . By subscribing, you’ll receive regular notifications about newly added events, featured workshops, conferences, and other valuable opportunities. Our newsletter also includes curated content, industry insights, and exclusive offers to keep you informed and engaged within the user research community. Alternatively, you can visit our platform regularly to explore the latest additions and upcoming events tailored to your interests.
We greatly appreciate input from our users. This site is meant to be by researchers, for researchers. If you have ideas for events you’d like to see on UserCalendar or suggestions for enhancing our services, please don’t hesitate to contact us. You can share your feedback here. Your valuable input allows us to better address the needs of our community.
We are currently picking a few events manually to be ‘featured’ here on the site and on the newsletter. We do not offer paid event features at this time.
